Need a last minute game day recipe? These wings are crispy and delicious, and better yet, gluten free! Okay, these still aren’t the healthiest, there is some sugar and some calories, but enjoy everything in moderation.
I only made ten of these but double the recipe if you’re serving a larger crowd!
10 Plain Chicken Wings
2 TSP Arrowhead Mills Gluten Free Flour
Salt & Pepper
For the sauce:
2 TSP Hoison Sauce
1 TSP Sesame Oil
2 TSP Honey
2 TSP Low Sodium Soy Sauce
1 Clove Minced Garlic
Instructions: Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Toss wings with flour until each wing is coated evenly. Place wings on parchment paper lined baking sheet and cook in oven for 15 minutes on one side. Flip and cook for another 20 minutes. Wings should cook for 35 minutes total.
While the wings are cooking coat bottom of a sauce pan on medium heat with sesame oil (About 1 TSP) Toss in minced garlic and let it sweat for a minute or two. Add in honey, hoison sauce, and soy sauce and bring mixture to a boil. Once wings are cooked, toss the wings in the sauce with a spatula, coating evenly. There should be some sauce left over. I added chopped chives for some color.
